Overview
Our client—an emerging education technology product —sought to expand its presence in New York State’s K–12 system. With a focus on reaching public school districts and the influential BOCES (Boards of Cooperative Educational Services), the goal was to navigate New York’s complex procurement landscape and drive adoption at scale.
Our Role
We led a targeted government affairs and stakeholder engagement campaign focused entirely within New York State. Our approach included:
  • Strategic engagement with state legislators, education policymakers, and regional BOCES leadership
  • Tailored outreach to superintendents, curriculum coordinators, and district IT leads across multiple regions
  • Coordination of product demonstrations, pilot implementations, and technical Q&A sessions
  • Messaging aligned with New York’s digital learning goals, fiscal responsibility, and instructional priorities
The Outcome
Our strategy resulted in multiple signed contracts with school districts throughout New York including one of the largest school districts in Long Island, NY. These wins opened the door to wider adoption across neighboring districts and established the client as a trusted, policy-aligned provider within the state.

By aligning the product with New York’s educational priorities and building trust with key stakeholders, we delivered measurable results and long-term market access.
